Come and experience Ecuadorian and Mexican Day of the Dead traditions: bread decorating, building the altar, dancing, and sharing food. Bread, memories and potluck - The Day of the Dead Mexico & Ecuador Join us to explore Mexican and Ecuadorian traditions for The Day of The Dead through storytelling, traditional food, and shared memories and a small dance workshop. Learn about pan de muerto and guaguas de pan, honour loved ones who have passed away, and discover connections between cultures. Participants are invited to bring a dish to share that reminds them of home, someone special, or a meaningful memory. You may also bring a photo or small memento to place on the community altar.
