Access Gallery 35th Anniversary Auction

Join us in celebrating 35 years of arts and community 🎂 ACCESS GALLERY IS TURNING 35, AND EVERYONE’S INVITED! On November 20, we’re throwing a big birthday party, and you’re all invited to celebrate with us! We’re bringing together the people who have been part of Access’s past, present, and future: artists, friends, neighbours, collectors, former board members, collaborators, and supporters. Old friends and new faces, all coming together around art, music, performance, and community. And of course, ART is at the heart of it all! Our 35th Anniversary Auction will feature works by Dana Claxton, Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun Lets’lo, Sonny Assu, Gathie Falk, Hank Bull, Marina Roy, Scott Massey, Steven Dragon, Karin Bubas and many, many more! And we have quite a night planned: 💋 Makdaddy will be our auctioneer IN DRAG! Does it get better than that? 💿 DJ Dairy Free will be playing bangers all night long! For 35 years, Access has been a place for emerging artists, experimental practices, and ideas that challenge prevailing norms. A place where artists can take risks, where difficult questions are welcomed, and where contemporary art creates space for critical conversations around social justice and the world we live in. This anniversary is a celebration of that history, but also of the people who have made it possible and everyone who will help shape what comes next. And because this is a birthday party, we want as many of you there as possible! We've set aside a limited number of specially priced, accessible tickets, available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you'd like to join us at a lower rate, grab yours early! 35 years of art, experimentation, critical conversations, and community. Now, let's celebrate! 🎈
