Book+Bottle: Rain Check

A cozy night of books, community and wine. Join us for an evening of books, wine, and community at Book+Bottle: Rain Check, brought to you by The Event Atelier and hosted by Georgia General. November in Vancouver means rain on the windows and every excuse to stay in, so we're cozying up with the books worth cancelling plans for. Consider this your rain check! Bring the book you'd cancel plans for, paired with a bottle of wine that matches its vibe. Maybe it's the one that kept you up until 3 AM telling yourself "just one more chapter," or the one you've reread so many times the spine is cracked. Your pick could be a gripping thriller, a sweeping romance, a cozy fantasy, or a comfort read you return to every year. You might choose a rich, velvety red to pair with a dark and stormy page turner, or a soft, easy drinking white for a feel good favourite. During the evening, you'll trade your duo, so everyone heads home with a new book that might cost them some sleep and a fresh bottle to uncork. There will be light refreshments to enjoy while you share your favourite picks and hang out, and guests will enjoy an exclusive event only discount when shopping at Georgia General. It's a relaxed, cozy setting to connect with fellow bibliophiles and wine lovers over a shared love of great stories. When: Sunday, November 15th at 7:00 PM Where: Georgia General, 706 Victoria Drive Tickets: General Admission ($20.00) and bring your own Rain Check book and bottle of wine to swap.
