Book Launch: For Anyone Who's Suffered "Mild" TBI

Dive into the author's heartfelt story and scientific insights about "mild" TBI for anyone who's lived through it—and anyone who loves them. Door opens 6:30, event begins 7 PM. This is a chance for anyone who's experienced "mild" traumatic brain injury (concussion) and anyone who cares about them to feel seen and heard while learning more about this underestimated injury. Lynne will read from her new book, No Such Thing: A True Story of "Mild" Traumatic Brain Injury and My Twenty-Year (so far) Recovery, followed by time to ask questions and have your copy signed. Please don't buy tickets online. We request $10 per person (or by donation) at the door solely to defray costs, not for profit. The evening is open to all ages. If you bring children, please bring a quiet activity for them to enjoy during the reading and Q&A. There is free street parking on Shaughnessy Street and sidestreets. There is a free parking lot off Wilson Avenue (two blocks south of the venue, a half-block east of Shaughnessy, across from Porthaven condos (under construction). We regret that this is not a wheelchair-accessible venue. We hope to hold future events at accessible venues in other communities.
