Lima’s criolla cuisine is bold, comforting, and full of history. In this class, we’ll cook some of the capital’s most iconic dishes. Please read our Class FAQ before registering! Your Chef: Anahi Rivadineira In this class, we explore Chifa cuisine, through a menu of classic dishes. Learn the history of Chinese immigration in Peru and how it shaped Chifa cuisine, one of the country’s most enduring and influential culinary traditions. On the menu tonight: We begin the class with sauces and dips, exploring the ingredients, techniques, and flavours that define the menu. Tequeños de queso: Crispy golden pastry sticks filled with cheese curds and served with a creamy avocado dipping sauce. Ají de gallina: Creamy chicken stew with ají amarillo and walnuts. Served with fluffy white rice and giant Peruvian corn kernels Crema volteada: Peruvian caramel flan $119 + GST per person (please purchase one ticket per attendees) Enjoy 10% off the entire store on the day of the event! Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person. We have a 72 hour cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place. In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund. Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concerns. Menu modifications can not be provided during the event.
