IMDEX Presents: Xploration Tech Symposium | Vancouver 2027

Discover the future of mining tech at the Xploration Tech Symposium - innovation, insights & industry leaders all in one place. Now in its 12th year, Xploration Tech Symposium (XTS) has become one of the most respected technical forums held alongside AME Roundup. Hosted by IMDEX, XTS provides a neutral platform for industry leaders, researchers and innovators to discuss the future of geoscience and mining. The focus is on ideas, collaboration and open technical dialogue rather than product promotion. The theme: Da Vinci to Amazon: From Creativity to Scale in Geoscience At its core, this year's theme explores one of the mining industry's most persistent challenges: translating geoscience data into actionable, scalable decisions. Across the mining value chain, geoscience operates in fundamentally different modes—from creative discovery, to structured interpretation, to repeatable execution. Yet these stages are often disconnected, leading to lost value, misalignment and missed opportunities. XTS 2027 explores how we better connect these different "personalities" of geoscience to unlock more value from the subsurface. What to Expect • Technical presentations from industry and research leaders • Interactive panel discussion • Catering provided throughout the day • Thought-provoking conversations on the future of geoscience • A highly engaged audience of geologists and geoscientists Speaker Announcements Speaker announcements and programme updates will be released in the lead-up to the event.
