Intro to Improv 2 with Syd Sundays starting Sept 20

Sundays, September 20 - October 18 6:00-9:30pm PST Location: Carousel Theatre Studios - Studio C In this course you will explore the keys to making an improv show and improv scene compelling to watch. You will learn how to create dynamic characters, leverage your character’s status, and play with sincerity. You’ll learn the importance of variety and commitment in your offers, and the value of letting a scene breath. No better way to practice being dynamic than in front of an audience with two performances! By the time you finish Intro to Improv 2, you will be ready to move onto Advanced Scenes 1 with confidence in your ability to work with your scene partner to create a full, quality scene, and an ability to commit wholeheartedly to your character. Please note: • This class is for folks ages 18+ • This class has a pre-requisite of Intro to Improv 1 or equivalent experience Venue Accessibility - Studio C at Carousel Studios is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
