Public Disco After Dark

Public Disco curators past and present take over the warehouse for a late night of disco, house, techno and everything in between. After a summer celebrating ten years of turning public spaces across the city into dance floors, we’re heading back inside for a late night in our favourite local warehouse. For this edition, we’ve invited Public Disco curators past and present, the people who’ve helped shape the sound of our parties over the years, to step behind the decks and share their finest selections. Expect disco, house, techno and everything in between, with live visuals from clara setting the mood. Line Up: Jesse Walker G-Luve Nancy Dru DJ dood Live visuals by clara Public Disco After Dark brings the energy of our daytime parties indoors for something more intimate. The music goes deeper and the lights go down, but the welcome stays the same: an inclusive, feel-good dance floor where everyone belongs. All are welcome, and violence, racism, transphobia, sexism, or any other discriminatory language or actions will not be tolerated. Together, let’s create a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples: the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations. We ask that you take a moment to consider the history of the land we gather on, your relations with local Indigenous people, and what each of us can do to foster meaningful reconciliation now and into the future.
