Musical Mélange - Sidney Brass

To find information and tickets for the rest of the concerts go here: Musical Mélange Eventbrite Series of concerts Sidney Brass was formed in 2019 when a tuba player realized that there were some excellent brass players living in Sidney and growing tired of commuting to Victoria for rehearsals and concerts. Since then some members left town to a military band and the Manila Philharmonic and were replaced with other local musicians. The quintet performs regularly at seniors’ homes, the Festival of Lights, Music in the Park and was the opening act when Marcelito Pomoy, an America’s Got Talent finalist performed at the Mary Winspear Centre. You can expect to hear traditional brass quintet classics as well as some Dixieland, ragtime, blues and the occasional March.
