Sonics for United Sound 9 will feature UK Dubstep, Grime and Broken UKG bizness from this group of talented Island producers and selectors Diivoiid https://soundcloud.com/dii-voiid https://www.instagram.com/diivoiid/ Diivoiid is one of Vancouver Island’s most compelling hidden gems, exploring the space where contrast becomes cohesion. With a co-sign from Zeds Dead and a debut release on the latest Dubversified Culture compilation, he is steadily shaping a sound that feels like the next step in bass music’s evolution. Grounded in a deep love for all things 140—from garage and dubstep to breaks and beyond—Diivoiid blends weight and space, shadow and melody, structure and freedom. With over a decade of experience in the studio and behind the decks, his music embraces both darkness and light, creating moments that feel expansive and deeply alive. Hey Its Pablo https://soundcloud.com/heyitspablo https://www.instagram.com/heyitspablomusic/ At the crossroads of nostalgia and future sonics, lies Hey it’s Pablo’s esoteric sound. A blend between dubstep’s low-end command with melodic and industrial elements of trap, breaks and drum n bass ripple through this selecta’s library. With releases on Dubversified, and Cimmerian records, coming off a recent festival debut at Wicked Woods, Hey it’s Pablo proves to be a menace behind the decks as well as in the studio. Domin8tracks https://soundcloud.com/domin8tracks https://www.instagram.com/domin8tracks.1/ The underground's high energy authority on all things 140. Since stepping into the scene at age 15, she has evolved into a powerhouse selector known for "in your face" sets that blend deep dub with a sexy, obscure edge. Frequently described as a DJ “for the girls,” her sound brings a feminine grit to the heavy hitting spectrum, making the dance floor feel as empowering as it is loud. With a resume that boasts being on support for Flux Pavilion (twice), Doctor P, Dion timmer and MYTHM, DOMIN8TRACKS brings a level of confidence and technical precision that only comes from years in the trenches. When she isn't destroying the dancefloor, she’s a pillar of the community, assisting in harm reduction efforts for Vancouver islands best secret festivals and Mindgarden events. Expect heavy bass, punchy transitions, and exactly what you didn't know you needed to hear Seanja https://soundcloud.com/seanja https://www.instagram.com/seanjatheselekta Seanja always brings an unmistakably big energy behind the decks, blending punchy bass lines, upbeat rhythms, and shadowy atmospheric melodies. For this all-UK music showcase, Seanja dives deep into the sounds that shaped the British underground — from UK garage and grime to dubstep, and club-driven electronic sounds. Expect heavy low end, sharp rhythms, and a set that feels dedicated to our musical roots, start to finish.
