Elmwood Cemetery Trolley Tour

Get to know Elmwood's history and landscape aboard a beautiful vintage trolley! Get to know Elmwood's history, art, nature and landscape from the comfort of a charming vintage trolley! We've partnered once again with Detroit's own Grand Trolley to bring you a delightful ride through our beautiful and historic 86-acre cemetery led by an expert guide. This two-hour tour of Elmwood will give you the "greatest hits" of this historic cemetery. We'll introduce you to some of our notable residents and compelling monuments while you take in the gorgeous landscape design and historic architecture. There will be some hop-off stops with a little bit of walking, but all stops are optional; just cruise and enjoy the scenery if you prefer! Most narration takes place on the trolley. We'll serve some light refreshments on board, but feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages. Thanks to the generous support of the Mary Thompson Foundation, we are delighted to offer tickets at a discounted rate of $10 per person for the 2026 tour season. Capacity is limited to 24 people per tour.
