Get Ready for the TRANSFORMIT Road trip! -About the study tour Join us in person for our hands-on journey bringing together practitioners working on forest adaptation and Integrative Forest Management. Travelling together from Basel, Switzerland, to Serrahn, Germany, we will visit selected Satellite Demonstration Areas and other relevant sites, explore practical approaches and learn from those working on the ground. At the heart of the tour is peer exchange between practitioners: sharing experiences and lessons learned, discussing challenges and exploring questions and solutions together. At selected stops, we will also bring in decision makers, NGOs, private-sector organisations and other stakeholders to share additional perspectives, highlight good practice examples and show how stakeholder engagement is working in practice at the different sites. The study tour will take place from 26–30 April 2027 and includes five days of active excursions. Participants may join for the full programme or for selected parts of the tour, depending on availability. Please indicate your planned arrival and departure dates carefully during registration. This information will be used to plan transport, accommodation and meals. Places are limited. If the maximum number of participants is reached, additional participants can join the waiting list.
