AI Futures | What's the Plan?

We talked about AGI trajectories. We discussed risks. The harder question: what can we actually do about risks from powerful AI? 🗺️🧭 In session 4 of AI Futures, we move from "what could go wrong" to "what is being tried." We'll walk through the three big buckets of work happening right now — Technical Safety (constitutional AI vs. deliberative alignment, AI control, interpretability, evaluations), Governance and policy (compute governance, international treaties, pausing AI development), and the Socio-structural preparedness (def/acc, AGI-preparedness, forecasting, ???). We will also share our views on what is most promising. You'll leave with a clearer map of the field and which approaches (or combination of) currently seem most promising. No prior sessions required — just drop in. 📅 Thursday, 7 May · 18:15–19:45 📍 Rämistrasse 101, Zürich (room tbd)
