Leasing Organic Farmland Meet & Greet

Join fellow farmers, aspiring farmers, and land owners to connect over leasing organic farmland in the Treasure Valley! Join us New York Richies for our September Leasing Organic Farmland Meet and Greet! This is the last TOPP funded meet & greet (aka the last one where food and drink ar on us). Are you a current or aspiring small farmer in the Treasure Valley, looking for a secure place to put down roots? If so, join us to learn more about our current effort to secure a long-term lease on a large piece of land that will house a farm incubator! This project will provide access to shared land, infrastructure, equipment, and markets to independent farm businesses. It will also offer training, mentorship, and support for farmers at all stages of their farming journey. Current and aspiring farmers welcome to come socialize, build connections, and learn about the Taproots Farm Hub project as a way to possibly access farmland for their businesses. Land owners welcome to join in on the conversation, too. Food and beverages provided! Ticket will be refunded to you when you attend the event! This project is supported through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). TOPP is a program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).
