Big Feelings, Brave Hearts - 2026

Over six weekly sessions, participants will learn age-appropriate skills to help them better understand their emotions, recognize what they are feeling, and develop healthy strategies for coping with and managing difficult emotions. The goal is to help youth feel less distressed when challenging emotions arise while building practical skills they can continue using at home, at school, and in everyday life. The group also provides a supportive environment where youth can practice these skills and recognize that they are not alone in navigating big feelings. Group Dates: Thursdays, October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 and November 5 Facilitator: Shannon Trewartha, ATR-BC, LPC Snacks will be provided. Childcare is available for siblings.
