Need help fitting a garment, inserting a tricky zipper, or perfecting a hem? We’ve got you covered! Techniques & Skill you can learn: Depending on what you bring, we can guide you through: • Garment Construction & Assembly: Understanding pattern pieces, seam allowances, and step-by-step garment assembly. • Essential & Advanced Sewing Techniques: Inserting zippers (invisible or regular), adding pockets, constructing collars, buttonholes, and clean finishings. • Fitting & Alterations: Adjusting seams for the perfect fit, taking in or letting out garments, and adjusting hem lengths. • Machine Mastery: Learning how to use specialized presser feet, overlockers/sergers, and handling different fabric types. • Creative Upcycling & Mending: Creative patching, visible mending, or transforming existing garments into fresh designs.
