While Shibari is traditionally known as the Japanese art of rope bondage, we approach it as a practice of presence, communication, surrender, and connection. Combined with tantric principles, it offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and meet ourselves and others with greater authenticity. This workshop is designed as a safe and supportive space where participants can explore connection beyond performance, roles, and expectations. During the workshop you will experience: * Tantric practices for presence, awareness, and authentic connection * Essential rope handling and basic binding techniques * Introduction to conscious and therapeutic approaches to Shibari * Trauma-sensitive principles for creating emotional and physical safety * Guided partner exercises and role reversal experiences * Practical tools for building trust, communication, and consent * Space for exploration, reflection, and embodied learning Many people discover that ropes and knots can become much more than a physical technique. When practiced with awareness and care, it can support emotional release, vulnerability, self-discovery, and deeper connection. We will explore how safety, trust, and attunement create the conditions in which genuine surrender and transformation can emerge. The workshop takes place fully clothed and is non-sexual in nature. The focus is on conscious connection, embodiment, and personal growth. You are welcome to join alone or with a partner, friend, or loved one.
