Fundraiser for The Dolls and screening of five short films about HIV, trans and queer resistance, chosen family, memory and revival. Short Films for World AIDS Day – a fundraiser for The Dolls On World AIDS Day, we come together at Moviemento, to watch five short films from Brazil, the USA, Greece, Canada and France. Together they tell stories of HIV through trans and queer resistance, chosen family, activism, memory and tenderness. The program moves from grief and loss to defiance and revival, honoring those we've lost and celebrating those still living, loving and fighting. TBC THE FILMS (approx. 65 min) • Scorpionikas – counter-manifesto (Brazil, 2025): a defiant trans manifesto against the (cis)tem • Two Men and a Baby (USA, 1993): two men raising their nephew face an HIV diagnosis • This is Right: Zak, Life and After (Greece, 2020): a portrait of queer AIDS activist Zak Kostopoulos and the community he left behind • OCEANIA (France, 2024): a young man uncovers the hidden life and lost love of his late neighbor • Filament Fortune (Canada, 2024): a poetic ode to tenderness and revival between HIV-positive bodies All donations go to Protect The Dolls 🩷🤍🩵 Entry is [by donation / 12 €].
