This workshop provides practical insights into caring for afro hair. Individual guidance and collective learning are what we aim for! Ever wondered which products really work for your hair and how to style it in a way that makes you feel great? Then join us for our Afro hair workshop! The workshop is for anyone interested in natural Afro hair, how to care for it and the many ways to style it. It's about your own hair, not extensions, wigs or braids. Justine will be leading the workshop. She will start with a presentation where she introduces products and shows how to use them. After that, it's hands-on time: we style our hair and try out the techniques ourselves. Afterwards, there will be the option to purchase products. Who is it for? Like all our events, this workshop is a space for Black women. How to come prepared We strongly recommend coming with freshly washed, open hair, so you can try the products and techniques on your own hair. Currently wearing braids, or not comfortable showing your hair open? No problem, you are still welcome, but as an observer. We can't guarantee that other participants will be willing to let you practice on their hair. Please cancel if you can't make it. Spots are limited. The entry fee should not be a barrier: If you can't afford the €10, please reach out to us in confidence, on Instagram, via WhatsApp or directly in the registration form.
