It's easy to match a client’s panic instead of steadying it. It’s easy to decide the other side is being unreasonable when we’ve never once asked them why they want what they’re asking for. And it’s easy to forget that we usually have our own reason for pushing a deal one direction — a closing we’re counting on, a check we already spent – that has nothing to do with our client. Here's the part nobody says out loud: in most transactions there is exactly one person capable of staying calm, and it's us. Not because we're smarter. Because everybody else in the deal is scared about money and nobody hired them to be steady. This course teaches agents to slow down, ask the questions that get underneath the demand, and use a mediator's toolkit to build agreements that actually hold — without ever giving up their duty to their own client. Courses may be canceled for a full refund up to 2 days before the course starts or a student can transfer their registration to another course date. Course registration may not be transferred to another student. Refunds will not be issued for any registration in which a no show occurs and/or cancellation was requested less than 2 days prior to the start of class. If for any reason the course needs to be canceled by WLT, the registered student will have the option of a full refund or transfer of registration to a different class date. WLT reserves the right to cancel any course due to low enrollment or other extenuating circumstances as deemed necessary by WLT. You will receive a reminder email from WLT of your upcoming course 2 days prior to the start of class. You will also receive a notice from WLT if your class will be held or canceled.
