Stand-Up Comedy with Jefferson Bond & Henrik Danielsen

Whether you're after a fun date night, a laugh with friends, or simply the best things to do in Aarhus this February, this stand-up comedy event has you covered. If you live in Aarhus, you've probably already come across Henrik Danielsen, who hosts the weekly English Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic every Sunday at Alberts Bar on Store Torv. Danielsen is a Finalist of DM i Stand-up (National comedy competition) 2022 and Semi-Finalist of DM i Stand-up 2019, and regularly performs at Comedy Zoo, Aarhus Comedy Club and Alberts in Aarhus. Originally from Aalborg and now based in Aarhus, his comedy draws on his own everyday life, and he's not afraid to share even the most embarrassing situations that come with it. On the 3rd of February 2027, he'll bring the sharpest new material he's developed over the past year, promising a night of big laughs and surprisingly honest, poignant moments. Joining him is the equally hardworking and hilarious Jefferson Bond, an Irish-English, award-nominated stand-up comedian now based in Copenhagen, where he's become a key figure on the local comedy scene. Born in Belfast, Bond has spent recent years building a reputation as a mainstay of Copenhagen's stand-up circuit, and was the first English-speaking comedian to reach the finals of both Sweden's and Denmark's national comedy competitions in his debut year. He has also appeared on Danish national television via TV2 and DR Radio, and his one-man show "Lucky Potato" — which navigates his Irish-English identity crisis and life in Denmark — was nominated for Best Debut Hour at the UP Comedy Festival. Known for his energetic, silly, larger-than-life stage presence, Bond brings his signature blend of Irish charm and absurd cultural observation to Aarhus for a night you won't want to miss.
