First aid for Babies & Children: CPR and choking (in English)

Two first aid courses in English almost every month: CPR & Choking (0-8 yrs) + the new 4-hour extended course. All dates for my courses Autumn 2026 and Spring 2027 can be found below (scroll to the bottom). Baby-friendly: you are allowed to bring a baby aged 0-12 months. Kind regards Marianne Mogensen Physiotherapist & First aid instructor, [email protected] *** H ow to help a baby or child in an emergency Prevent most accidents in daily life - and be prepared for those, that happen anyway. The instructor uses her experience and knowledge as a health professional. We spend plenty of time practicing in small groups, using special Junior & Baby CPR manikins. Program The 4 steps of first aid Assessment of consciousness & breathing CPR for babies (0-12 mos) and children (1-8 yrs) - we practice thoroughly! Recovery position How to use an AED Prevention of & first aid in case of choking - we practice thoroughly! Plus more lecture-style: - How to recognize signs of serious infection - Falls - Burns and external corrosive injury - Poisoning and internal corrosive injury - Fever cramps (and other kinds of seizures) Registration Sign up is pr. adult (18+). You are allowed to bring a baby (0-12 months) at no extra cost. You don't have to bring the baby (you will probably be more focused and learn more if you don't), but the baby is absolutely welcome :-). Pregnant? You are welcome! It's more easy to listen & learn before birth :-) Babysitter / Au pair? Feel free to ask me in advance to bring a diploma for you. Couples: You buy one ticket at full price + one partner-ticket with a discount. You are welcome to attend different courses the same day - please use the same name when signing up. This allows you to take turns babysitting. Registration is binding. Should the instructor get sick/quarantined or in case of new restrictions from authorities, the course will be cancelled. You will get info about a new date or you can choose a refund of the workshop fee. Practical info Sunday March 21st: 10.00-13.00 The course will be 3 hours of teaching incl. a short break. This course is in English. There is another English course the same day at 14.00-17.00 (or 18.00 if you choose the 4-hour extended course) Please bring: Yoga mat or similar Lock for the stroller Snacks etc. My CPR manikins can give feedback to your mobile devise. I recommend downloading the app. QCPR from Laerdal in advance. It’s available for free in Google Play & Apple’s App Store. You will receive a mail some days before the course with practical details. She is a physiotherapist, ergonomics teacher and motor skills instructor. In the past she was also a sergeant in the Danish Civil Defense (eg. passed the exam as a firefighter).
