Meeting point: just inside the main entrance. The Copenhagen City Hall was built between 1892 and 1905, and houses the City Council. The building was designed by the architect Martin Nyrop, who drew inspiration from Southern European architecture. Climb the huge oak stairs, enjoy the intricately carved decorations, and the frescoes on the walls, while learning more about the building and the history of the local democracy of Copenhagen. The tour gives you access to rooms that aren't accessible to the public without a guide.
