Socialising attempts often mean standing in a crowded room, wearing a polite smile, and answering the same three questions: "What do you do?" "Where are you from?" "How long have you been here?" Great for breaking the ice, but rarely leading to connection, something inspiring or meaningful. It’s exhausting. It feels like a performance. Despite being surrounded by lots of people, the absence of authentic connection and meaningful conversations can often leave many feeling a little lonely or like we don't belong.
