Proud Phoenix Comedy Showcase

Proud Phoenix Comedy Show Case Three brilliant comedians. One monthly showcase. At Proud Mary. A Copenhagen comedy favourite is rising from the ashes. Proud Mary’s weekly Monday new-material night was where comedians tested ideas, refined their jokes and occasionally discovered in front of a live audience that something needed a little more work. The old show was free, so whenever a joke didn’t land, people could always say, “You get what you pay for.” Now it’s a ticketed showcase... and you still get what you pay for. Fortunately, that means three hand-picked comedians performing their best material. Proud Phoenix Comedy Show Case transforms the former weekly open mic into a monthly celebration of brilliant live stand-up. Each edition brings three talented comedians to Proud Mary for an evening of developed material, distinctive voices and plenty of laughter. Kicking off the next show are: Henrik Danielsen, Liam Duffy, and Paul Johnstone Henrik Danielsen Henrik Danielsen is a Danish comedian based in Aarhus.
