Shake out the legs, then carb up for race day. 5-6K easy jog, followed by cinnamon rolls and coffee at a proper Copenhagen classic. Race legs loading. Pastries pending. Together with Bosses Bageri, we’re going back to the roots of Danish pastry making for a proper pre-race shakeout and carb up.

The day before the half marathon, we keep things easy with a 5-6K social run, bringing local and international runners together for a morning spin through Copenhagen. We’ll head out together at around 5:00–5:30 min/km. If needed, we’ll also add a second group running around 6:00–6:30 min/km, so everyone can keep it comfortable. Easy pace. Fresh legs. Delicious pastries. Once we’re back at Bosses, it’s time for fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee from one of Copenhagen’s proper old-school bakeries. And with the World Athletics Road Running Championships taking over Copenhagen for the weekend, why not kick things off in good company? After the shakeout, we’ll stick around and head out together to watch the One Mile race at 10.10 AM. Run easy. Eat well. Watch the world’s best do the hard work.
