Ukrainian Cheese Horse: A Unique Ukrainian Craft Tradition

🇺🇦 Сирний коник: традиція власними руками 🐴🧀 Маленький коник із сиру родом із гуцульських полонин. Його не купиш у супермаркеті й не навчишся робити лише за рецептом з інтернету. Це живе ремесло , яке передавали з рук у руки — від майстрині до майстрині. Запрошуємо на демонстраційний майстер-клас із виготовлення традиційних сирних коників. На вас чекає: 🔸 Кожен учасник власноруч створить 1–3 сирних коники та забере їх із собою. 🔸 Поговоримо про сирну спадщину України , її місце у світовій гастрономії та виклики, з якими сьогодні стикаються українські ремісники. 🔸 І, звісно, буде дегустація сиру . Досвід не потрібен. You won’t find it in a supermarket, and you can’t truly learn to make one simply by following an online recipe. It is a living craft , passed down from hand to hand — from one craftswoman to another. We invite you to a hands-on demonstration workshop where you will discover the traditional Ukrainian craft of making cheese horses. What to expect: 🔸 Each participant will create 1–3 cheese horses by hand and take them home. 🔸 We’ll talk about Ukraine’s cheese heritage , its place in the world of cheese and gastronomy, and the challenges Ukrainian artisan producers face today. 🔸 And, of course, there will be a cheese tasting . No previous experience is needed.
