Zinssou Quartet Album Release at H15

ENGLISH: The quartet’s sound is defined by its unusual instrumentation, with the cello serving as a central voice. This gives the music a distinctive and highly characteristic sonic expression. Drawing inspiration from Nordic jazz and classical music to neo-soul and hip-hop, Zinssou Quartet consciously strives to make complex music feel intimate and accessible. Live, Zinssou Quartet is a complete sensory experience. Their concerts unfold as atmospheric narratives, where sound, light, spoken word and music merge into a cinematic expression. It is an experience that both challenges and embraces the listener, leaving them with a sense of immersion and release. As winners of the Danish Jazz Competition, the quartet has already made its mark on the Danish jazz scene. Yet Zinssou Quartet insists on not being confined by genre. They are a band in constant motion, driven by curiosity and a desire to create meaning through music.
