Welcome to 2nd edition of our ️ Charity Nomad Run for AFANOC by BDN Community! • ​📅 Date & Time: Saturday, October 10th, 2026 – 11:00 AM • ​📍 Meeting Point: La Fabrica & Co, Poblenou • ​🎗️ Charity: AFANOC – Asociación de Familias y Amigos de Niños Oncológicos de Cataluña. They support children and teens with cancer and their families. Read more about AFANOC below. ✨ ​🏃 The Run • ​Distance: 5K social run along the beach & Olympic Port + 1x break and group foto • ​Pace: Social run, all levels welcome (2x pace groups) • ​Start & Finish: La Fabrica & Co in Poble Nou ​🏃 Why We're Running for Afanoc ​Cancer statistics don't show what's really at stake — a child fighting for their life, and a family rewriting every plan they had. This October we're turning that into action: a charity run where every kilometer raises money for AFANOC. 🧡 ​🎗️ Who Is AFANOC? ​Founded by parents who refused to let any family face childhood cancer alone, AFANOC supports families from diagnosis onward — including a home, La Casa dels Xuklis, where they can stay together during treatment. We visited last year and saw what that support really means. ❤️ ​🌍 Runners, But Also Neighbors ​This run is how our community puts down roots in Barcelona. Digital nomads move through this city constantly — this is our chance to give back to it directly, alongside the local families and organizations who call it home. 🤝 ​🎉 After the Finish Line Rooftop Charity Village & Rooftop Pool Hangout ​Head to La Fabrica & Co's rooftop for the AFANOC Charity Village.
