Rebel Workshops: The Shell, Rebirth of Curiosity

3 hours. 8 curious people. One question: what can our curiosities teach us about ourselves and the world? Most days we move too fast to notice what sparks something in us. This is an evening to stop, look at those things closely, and meet again the curious and present self you were before life got so busy. About the host: Uros Jankovic (@yuroshcabinet) By day, Uros works in tech and AI. By evening, he's reconnecting with his own curious, creative side. Working so close to technology, he sees how much it shapes the way we live, think and connect, and how easily it pulls us away from ourselves. So he puts his creative energy into what can't be replaced: real human connection. In his creative cabinet, he curates intimate experiences where presence and curiosity can flourish, built around art, stories, and honest conversation. The Story Behind It In the 16th century, before museums existed, people kept Cabinets of Curiosities: rooms filled with anything that sparked their interest, from nature, art, craft or science. There was only one rule: if it sparks my curiosity, it belongs here. These cabinets were places to reflect, understand yourself and the world, and talk with others. Inspired by Massimo Listri's book Cabinet of Curiosities, Uros brings that idea into today: a space to collect what sparks you and reflect on it together. The Shell is the first experience in this series. Shells were among the most treasured objects in those cabinets, and why we start with one is something you'll discover on the night.
