Wood & Epoxy Charcuterie Board In this 2-day class students will make their very own wooden and epoxy "Mini River" Table that can be used as a serving board, charcuterie board, or as a wonderful display piece of custom art. Students will cut their own unique "river" shape using the wood provided for the class. Students will then learn how to properly seal the mold that will be provided for the class followed by clamping their wooden pieces securely to the mold. Then the real fun stuff begins, students will mix up their own deep pour epoxy and choose from the many colors of pigment provided in the class. Students will pour epoxy into the molds. After the epoxy has cured and hardened (roughly 3 days), students can call to schedule their 2nd day at a time that works for both them and our staff, at least 24-hours in advance. This 2nd day will consist of surfacing the board to a thickness of around 3/4" thick and finishing them with a food-contact safe finish. Alternatively, students may pay a $35 classroom fee and have the instructor finish it for them.
