Jacksonville Public Library's big annual book bash featuring John Patrick Green, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Emma Straub, and 120+ local authors. Held annually at the Main Library in Downtown Jacksonville, this free, one-day event invites readers of all ages to meet and support local authors, purchase books, attend free author talks, and participate in other fun “bookish” activities. It's a celebration of reading, local authorship, and the power of the written word. There will be free face painting for the kids, balloon artists, a fun photo booth, button making, scavenger hunts, and so much more. Sign up to meet your favorite authors at jaxlibrary.org/BookFest
