Geneva Local Hub #7: Where does L&D create value next?

What are we actually for? Exploring the future of Learning & Development together AI is rapidly changing the economics of learning. Content creation is becoming faster, cheaper, and increasingly accessible. As a result, many L&D professionals are facing the same question: If content is no longer our primary value proposition, what is? For this L&D Shakers meetup, we'll explore this question through a collective reading of The Transformation Triangle, a thought-provoking report that proposes a strategic framework for L&D leaders seeking to redefine their role in an AI-enabled world. But don't worry: this is not a book club, you don't need to read it in advance. We'll explore it together in small groups, share insights, challenge ideas, and build a collective understanding. Why this topic? Because many of us are currently trying to answer the same questions in our organisations: How is AI reshaping the value of L&D? Where should we focus our energy? What capabilities become more important, not less? What does an impactful L&D function look like tomorrow? As always, the goal is not to find one right answer. It's to learn from each other, exchange perspectives, and leave with fresh ideas and new connections. Facilitated by Sofia & Juliette ☕ A practical note: our host kindly provides the space free of charge for three hours. In return, we simply ask everyone to support the venue by purchasing a drink (even a small one) during the event. We look forward to shaking ideas together! If you want to pre-read the report, you'll find it here: Transformation Triangle
