CAD/CAM Esthetics: Stain & Glaze with IPS e.max® & ZirCAD®

Join us to master finishing, polishing, stain and glaze techniques for IPS e.max® CAD and ZirCAD® Prime restorations. Overview: When it comes to finishing your CAD/CAM restorations, you have quite a few options to choose from. This course will cover different finishing and polishing rotary instruments, firing methods, and stain and glazing options utilizing the IPS e.max CAD Crystall./Shades and Stains. In addition, we will cover technical tips to help you achieve consistent, predictable, and esthetic results for both lithium disilicate and zirconia restorations. In this course, you will learn more about the following themes: Understand the factors that influence the esthetic outcome of ceramic materials – Tips on processing IPS e.max CAD restorations – Review types of finishing processes with IPS e.max CAD/ZirCAD Prime Block Refund Policy: The last day to request a refund is September 16, 2026. Any Eventbrite fees will NOT be refunded. Instructor: Jerry Varner, CDT Jerry has over 27 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician and educator. A U.S. Navy and Air Force veteran, he began his training at Sheppard Air Force Base in 1998. He later taught at the Department of Defense Dental Laboratory School at Fort Sam Houston, and worked as a civilian technician at Nellis Air Force Base following his military retirement in 2016. Today, Jerry serves as Associate Manager of Technical Services in Ivoclar’s Technical Services and Education Department. In this role, he leads education programs on Ivoclar technical products utilization across the U.S. and Canada while providing expert product troubleshooting and support.
