Foam Printing with Elaine Thomson Printmaker

Get ready to dive into foam printing and create cool art with printmaker Elaine Thomson in a fun, hands-on session! Workshop Facilitator - Elaine Thomson Discover the magic of printmaking in this fun, hands-on foam printing workshop. Using simple tools, you'll create your own printing plates by drawing, making patterns and exploring textures before bringing your designs to life with colourful inks. Experiment with shapes, images and repeat patterns as you create a collection of unique prints to take home. Perfect for young artists and families, foam printing is an easy and exciting introduction to printmaking, with every print revealing a surprise 'big reveal' moment as your design appears on paper. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary. All young people need to be accompanied by an adult. This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for all ages, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome. Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults, and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills, and spend quality time together. By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work. This workshop is part of the EDIT'S Tattie Holiday Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
