NEW DATES for 2027. Weave a cushion cover 3-hour workshop

Under the guidance of weaver, designer, and colour lover, Angie Parker, you will weave a cushion panel on a four-shaft table loom. Jump straight into the fun part of weaving on a 4-shaft table loom under the guidance of weaver and textile designer Angie Parker. With access to a wide range of Angie's colourful yarns, you can let your creativity run wild while learning different weave structures, including plain and twill. The looms will be threaded up in preparation for this workshop and the session can be adapted to meet the requirements of each participant. You can get in touch before the workshop to request specific colours and where possible Angie will find a shade that matches from her extensive yarn supply. Once each participant has finished weaving their panel, Angie transforms the woven sample into a simple cushion for you to take home. All in three hours or under in the spacious and purpose-built workshop space. As everyone weaves at a different pace some might finish before the end of the workshop advertised time. Unlimited tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided and the sessions are fun, informal and friendly. I reminder is sent one week before the event with information about parking, timings and anything else to ensure smooth running on the day. IMPORTANT. The workshop is a standing activity that involves repeated action. Those who suffer from lower back pain might experience some discomfort. Seating is available, and taking regular breaks is recommended. The images below are of the looms, materials, and examples by previous participants. CANCELLATION Terms and conditions To ensure that the workshops are priced reasonably for the participants, and viable for my business, they need to run at capacity. Where I can, I will work with you to find a solution to any issues affecting your attendance. All the workshops are non-refundable in all circumstances, however, every effort will be made to offer transfers. If you give more than 14 days' notice to cancel your options are as follows: I will transfer you to another workshop, space-permitting, or place you on the waiting list if someone else cancels. If there are no suitable future dates for you to transfer to I can provide a voucher to be used for a future workshop booking. This will be valid for one year from the date of issue. If you wish to send someone else in your place, this is fine, but please inform me before the workshop of any changes. If you give less than 14 days notice to cancel then your options are as follows: You can send someone else in your place, but let me know in advance. If your place is re-sold I will then book you onto a new date, or place you on the waiting list If you would like to transfer and the place is not re-sold, I can add you to a last-minute availability waiting list for future dates of the workshop. If there are still unsold places on the workshop with 24-48 hours until the workshop is due to take place, we will offer you a place at no additional charge. Please note this option is not a guarantee of a space. In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a workshop, you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date, a voucher to be used at another time or a full refund. I can not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation.
