Unleash your creativity outdoors, soak up the scenery, and paint alongside an experienced painter PLEIN AIR PAINTING WORKSHOP Get inspired by the beautiful city of Bath and enjoy painting together outdoor. You will develop your ability to see, simplify and interpret what is in front of you while discovering your own individual approach to painting. Your tutor will guide you step by step through the essentials of plein air painting, helping you to: • Choosing and framing a subject • Starting a painting with confidence • Creating strong compositions • How to adapt to changing light • Establishing the big shapes before adding detail • Simplifying complex scenes • Understanding light and shadow • Mixing and controlling colour • Knowing what to include and what to exclude • Developing a painting from an initial sketch • Knowing when a painting is finished The workshop is open to both beginners and more experienced artists. I am a local painter and my favourite medium is oil. I have taught drawing and painting to students of all levels, and I have led workshops across both Italy and the UK, sharing my passion for art and helping others develop their skills and creative expression.
