You're invited! Welcome to the official relaunch of our acoustic music series curated and hosted by local St Neots-based musician Rachel Hill at our cosy new venue The Citizen Hub. Come and hear some fab original songwriting and support your local music scene. We want to establish this as a regular event putting our town on the musical map and we need your help! Rachel Hill: Rachel Hill is a folk-inspired singer-songwriter celebrated for her captivating live performances and deeply personal songwriting. Using a vocal loop pedal, she crafts rich, layered harmonies live before her audiences. Based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, Rachel is a full-time freelance artist, songwriter, and choir director. The past couple of years have seen her gain national exposure on Radio 1, win ‘Best Acoustic Act’ at the 2025 Cambridge Bands Competition, and perform at major UK festivals including Camp Bestival. By the time you see her live on the 28th Rachel will have just returned from Germany, compelting her fourth international tour. Blending traditional folk with folk-pop and rock influences, they create harmony-driven acoustic music with emotive storytelling, exquisite vocals, guitar and violin. The duo released their debut album, Northern Shores & Stories, in 2020—the same year they married. Since then, they have become established names on the UK folk-roots circuit, touring extensively and supporting artists including Turin Brakes, Scott Matthews and Jools Holland. Festival highlights include Cambridge Folk Festival, The Great British Folk Festival, The British Country Music Festival and Camp Bestival. Their second album, Way Out West, was self-released in October 2025, accompanied by a UK-wide tour.
