NCT North Beds Sling Library

Volunteer-led sessions where parents can try, hire, and learn to use baby slings safely — with friendly support from NCT volunteers. Sling libraries are there so you can try different baby carriers before you invest in one for you and your little one. Ours runs along side our weekly Bumps and Babies Group, so you can join in the discussion and stay for a drink and cake or biscuits. Like shoes there isn't a one that fits everyone In our well stocked library we have a selection of different types of carriers, from stretchy wraps to soft structured carriers suitable from Newborn to toddler and our experienced volunteer sling library coordinators can help you find one that is comfortable for you and suitable for the age and stage of your baby. We show you how to use it safely and comfortably. Hiring a strechy wrap or caboo costs £15 for 3 months. Other carriers cost £15 for 4 weeks. You can choose to hire 1 carrier for the full 4 weeks, 2 carriers for 2 weeks, or swap carrier after 2 weeks. Great for holidays!
