Just Food

A pay-as-you-feel community meal celebrating local, sustainable, and delicious food! No minimum ticket price! Join us for our next Just Food event on the 3rd December! It's the usual bill - well sourced local produce that is cooked into a delicious meal and enjoyed together around a shared table. However, this time we are so excited to be able to use the newly refurbished hall at the Commons and, for the first time ever, run the event without a minimum ticket price to ensure it is truly pay-as-you-feel! We are also delighted to have Jack from Bakari come along to tell us more about the amazing work they are doing. It will be a little earlier than normal, and we want bums on seats by 6pm. This will give people the opportunity to enjoy the trad session happening that evening at the Commons after their meal. We will cater for ve/gf options, but please make sure you contact us in advance if you have any additional dietary requirements. The details of our menu are still to be decided and dependent on what is locally available at the time, but we know that we will have baked goods from Bakari, curry from Sujee, and apple crumble from Stereo for dessert. It's not to be missed! As always, any profit we make will go towards running costs for future Just Food events. See you there, we look forward to sharing a table with you!
