This talk is about the gap between reported and observed, why it widens as automation scales, and what a tamper-evident receipt for every automated action looks like in practice. Live demo: an incident that costs reasoning the first time and only validation the second. For SREs, platform engineers, engineering leads and anyone accountable for what automation does at 3am.
