About this event

These monthly sessions are appropriate for mindful movers of all abilities who wish to awaken their relationship to the natural world. Through this somatic movement series, you will be given the opportunity to explore how moving from a deeply felt experience of the living body can stimulate creativity and facilitate wellbeing and self-awareness. The inner and outer lives of the mover are under investigation. Somatic practice and the desire for art making are in conversation, remembering our place in the larger order of things. The sessions will cover somatic movement aspects of experiential anatomy, visualisation, and authentic movement practice; exploring the benefits of grounding, alignment, centring, channelling energy, stillness, attention and being present. Utilising these techniques can support your physical, mental and emotional well-being throughout your life.
