The Last Bantam

Inspired by real events. The Last Bantam is one of the very few plays to consider the Great War from an Irish nationalist perspective. These men fight in some of the bloodiest battles of the war. 1918 - A group of reporters visit the Front to write about the Bantams. One Bantam remains, Patrick Michael Wolfe, a Dubliner who signed up to get Home Rule. 200,000 Irishmen served in the Great War. This is Wolfe's story.
