Performed by the modern orchestra Mystery Ensemble, this magical evening will transport you instantly into the heart of Tolkien’s universe, where elves, hobbits, and dwarves roam. The virtuoso playing of the musicians will bring to life the stirring, powerful, and deeply emotional compositions of Howard Shore, the three-time Academy Award winner, whose work shaped the very essence of Peter Jackson’s cinematic masterpiece. There are rumours that various film composers, having heard The Lord of the Rings in our performance, strenuously began composing soundtracks for other films – hoping that someday we will also perform them! We decided that we would think about it. The concert organisers are the creative agency RED EVENTS & Distribution ltd , which makes exceptional cultural events in ancient mansions, on rooftops, in greenhouses and in other most atmospheric venues of Europe, Great Britain and other countries. Also in the repertoire – a collection of concerts by candlelight and with complete immersion in the space of video art and sound. Doors open at least 30 minutes before the concert.
