Viral sensations, purveyors of gorgeous blood harmonies, come hear the Irish sisters weave their spell down in the Temperance cellar..... The Woodgies are Irish sisters Hannah and Meghan Woodger, whose acoustic music blends indie-pop and folk with the innate warmth and intimacy only sibling bands can hope to achieve. Based in Switzerland, they first rose to prominence when their debut album Holding Hands won the Montreux Jazz Festival’s Coup de Cœur award. Since then, they’ve reached millions online with their heartfelt songs performed a cappella with natural reverb - their cover of “Dreams” by The Cranberries has over 13 million views. They’ve toured across Europe (and beyond), sharing stages with artists like Ye Vagabonds, DUG and Kids of Adelaide. With a new EP on the horizon, produced in Dublin by John “Spud” Murphy (Lankum, Ye Vagabonds), the duo continue to captivate audiences with a sound shaped as much by Irish tradition as by their Swiss upbringing, carving out a space that feels both timeless and distinctly their own. "The sisters' harmonies are both perfectly natural and meticulously honed, the result of years of hard work and dedication." — Tribune de Genève "Their music, reminiscent of Angus and Julia Stone, The Staves, and First Aid Kit, confirms that folk crafted within a family feels even sweeter." — Le Temps Website : www.thewoodgies.com Instagram : www.instagram.com/the_woodgies Facebook : www.facebook.com/Thewoodgies YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/@thewoodgies3633 Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thewoodgies?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc
