Each guided tour visits three local venues, where you’ll enjoy a delicious taster dish paired with a drink at each stop. With different themes to explore, there’s something for every foodie, whether you’re discovering somewhere new, treating a friend to a unique Christmas present or planning a fun evening out with colleagues. Members of the Birmingham Colmore team will join you along the way, sharing their local knowledge and introducing you to the brilliant hospitality businesses that make the area special. Vegan and non-alcoholic options are available. Come hungry, bring a friend and discover some of Birmingham’s fantastic food and drink spots this January! Your evening itinerary 5:30pm–6:15pm | Trillium Begin your evening at Trillium with a refined taste of contemporary dining. Enjoy Cornish monkfish tempura with smoked ham, peas and baby gem, or opt for the vegetarian alternative: caramelised cauliflower with potato dumplings, Pecorino and truffle dressing. Pair your dish with a glass of Trillium white wine or a Trillium alcohol-free cocktail. 6:20pm–7:05pm | Cow & Sow Next, head to Cow & Sow for a taste of quality ingredients and bold flavours. Enjoy flat iron steak served pink, or choose the vegan alternative: miso-glazed celeriac accompanied by smoky soy tempeh, Thai basil tofu purée, gochujang tenderstem broccoli and sweet black pepper cashew. Choose from a 125ml glass of Cow & Sow Malbec, house draught lager or a soft drink. 7:10pm–7:45pm | Hotel du Vin Round off your evening at Hotel du Vin with an indulgent dessert. Choose between a rich Valrhona ‘Nyangbo’ au chocolat pot (vegan) or a classic crème brûlée. Complete the experience with a glass of Tokaji Late Harvest by Royal Tokaji, Hungary. This luscious dessert wine balances honeyed sweetness with vibrant acidity, with notes of white peach, citrus, honeysuckle, elderflower and ginger.
