Cook your own popcorn over the campfire, then head into the woods to build your very own den using natural materials. Afterwards, relax in a hammock beneath the trees and enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodland. Feel free to bring along your favourite popcorn topping to try. Suitable for children aged 6+. Younger children are welcome but may need assistance with the activity. The Ranger will meet you behind the Visitors Centre. What is the age requirement for the event? • These events are aimed at children aged 3–12 years, unless otherwise stated in the event description. • Children under 5 may require additional support and supervision during some activities. • All children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. • We require a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. • Tickets are required for children taking part in the activity only. Can I bring younger siblings to a children's event? Yes. Younger siblings, including toddlers and babies, are welcome to attend. Please ensure that all children in your group are adequately supervised and that the required ratios are maintained. Tickets are only required for children participating in the activities. How long is the event? Most events last approximately 1½ hours, unless otherwise stated. For craft activities, you are welcome to work at your own pace, up to the maximum event duration. Can I bring my dog? No, dogs are not permitted at our events. Do I have to pay for parking? Yes. Parking charges apply and can be paid at the machine using a card, phone or on the RinGo App. Do I need to book? Yes, advance booking is essential. Full payment will be taken through Eventbrite at the time of booking. Please note that booking fees apply. Will I get my money back if I cancel? Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel your booking. Please refer to the Eventbrite refund terms and conditions for full details. What should I wear? Activities take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We recommend bringing: • Waterproofs or warm layers if needed • Sunscreen • A hat • Insect repellent Please be aware that mosquitoes and horseflies may be present during the summer months. What happens if there is a weather warning? We may need to alter outdoor activities if a weather warning is in place. We will do our best to continue the event safely, provide mitigations, or offer an indoor activity where possible. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather, you will be offered either: • An alternative date, or • A full refund Can I bring snacks and drinks? Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. However, we do not recommend eating during activities, as some may require hand washing before food can be consumed safely. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS How to make payment • Payment is taken on Eventbrite at the time of booking and Cancellation by you • You may cancel your booking via Eventbrite at any time. You will be entitled to a full refund (minus Eventbrite’s booking fees) up to 1 day before your activity. • Refunded tickets: Refunds will include the ticket price less the Eventbrite fees (which consist of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined). • Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won’t be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase. • Refunds for non-attendance by customers at events are not accepted. EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS · Services provided · We will provide the event in accordance with the description. · Cancelled and postponed events by us · (a) We reserve the right to cancel your event at any time due to events beyond our control (such as bad weather or staff shortages). In the unlikely event that we cancel your booking, we will offer an alternative date or provide you with a full refund (unless the reason for the cancellation is due to your breach of these terms & conditions) refunds will be for the entire purchase – that includes the ticket price and the Eventbrite fees. · (b) We will not be liable to pay you any compensation (other than refund of amounts paid by you) as a result of cancellation under any circumstances. · Safety and behaviour · (a) You are responsible for the children’s behaviour and safety at all times during the event. · (b) You are responsible for ensuring that the adult-to-child ratios · are met. If you do not bring enough adult helpers, we reserve the right to stop the activity and you will not be entitled to a refund. · Ratios: We require the following adult-to-child ratios, 1 adult to 3 children (Under 5’s will need more supervision on some activities) · (c) If we reasonably believe that anyone’s safety is being compromised during the event, we may stop the activity. If this happens, we will not refund any of the cost of the activity to you (unless the safety issue has arisen due to something that we have done or failed to do). · Parking and closure of the park · (a) Your booking does not include car parking, you will need to pay and display. · (b) Car parking is payable at the machine by card or phone. · (c) Please look on the website for opening and closing times of the park. · Changes to your booking · (a) You may not transfer your booking to another person · Complaints · If you have a complaint about your booking or the services provided by us, please contact us in the first instance (contact details above). If we are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, we have a complaints handling process which is available on our website at: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/councilcomplaints. We can also provide a copy of the policy on request. · Law and jurisdiction These terms are governed by English law, and you can bring legal proceedings in the English courts.
