Broad Street & Westside hidden history Broad Street in Birmingham is a thriving part of Birmingham's entertainment district but scratch beneath the surface, and there is a rich vein of gothic history. We search for evidence of: The Plague Pits of Birmingham An inventor's tragic death 1000's of Bodies transported around Birmingham at night The secret Jewish cemetery The printer's body displayed in a shop The walk is circular, approximately 2 miles and takes two hours on pavements. Good mobility is recommended. The tour goes ahead in all conditions, so suitable clothing is essential.
