roots rock @ temperance | Caitlin Krisko and the Broadcast (acoustic duo)

The very brilliant Caitlin Krisko and the Broadcast return with an intimate acoustic duo set to perform in our atmospheric basement. Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast (Acoustic Duo) offers a stripped-down, emotionally charged take on the band’s roots-rock sound, spotlighting the commanding vocals of Caitlin Krisko alongside guitarist Aaron Austin. The duo delivers soulful performances steeped in blues, Americana, and classic rock influences, creating an immersive listening-room experience that feels both powerful and deeply personal. Described by Rolling Stone as “one of the best-kept vocal secrets of the Southeast,” Krisko brings the same vocal intensity and storytelling that has earned her full band critical acclaim across the US and UK, translated beautifully into an intimate acoustic setting. Since the band’s transformational rebrand in 2021, the duo has become a favorite for venues seeking high-impact performances with a smaller footprint. In 2024, the duo highlighted material from the band’s self-produced EP Blueprints, a soulful and anthemic release praised for its raw vulnerability and emotional depth. Songs like “Haunted By You,” which topped Spotify’s Blues Ballads playlist, shine in the duo format, allowing audiences to connect closely with the lyrics and melodies. Their upcoming full-length album Heirloom (out spring 2026) continues that momentum, with select songs thoughtfully adapted for acoustic performance. With growing international recognition, Caitlin Krisko & the Broadcast have opened for The Wallflowers, Mavis Staples, Marcus King, Blackberry Smoke, Samantha Fish, Robert Randolph, and Margo Price cementing the acoustic duo as a versatile and compelling way to experience the heart of Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast in its most distilled and emotionally resonant form.
