ADAPT - Evening Show

ADAPT is a bold new theatre project by The Knotted Project, empowering young voices, and building Cumbrian creative futures. This brand new show will explore the life of young people growing up in Barrow and the stories and experiences that shape them. In Summer 2026, The Knotted Project worked alongside early career performers and local young people in Copeland to devise a dynamic, authentic show named Pathways. This 45-minute production explored a range of questions and challenges that young people face growing up in Cumbria, and offered a powerful insight to their community. This production has now toured to Barrow-in-Furness, where a new group of young people from Barrow have adapted, changed and re-imagined the show to tell their own stories, creating an ever- evolving performance that shifts with the people on stage. Young musicians from Barrow have also worked alongside musicians and sound designers from Horizon Studios and Full of Noises to adapt and create original music for the production.
